Terms of service

1. Acceptance and authority

By activating, installing, accessing, or using WARPing, you agree to these terms. If you act for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes the organization. WARPing is offered for business use by adults and is not directed to children or personal household use.

2. The service

WARPing is an Android application that prepares supported documents on the device and sends them to a configured printer. The associated licensing service activates installations, enforces device-seat limits, supports device replacement, and periodically validates trial or subscription status. Print documents and their contents are not uploaded to the licensing service.

3. Trials, subscriptions, and orders

Where offered, the self-service trial lasts 15 days on one tablet, beginning when you verify your email and confirm the trial. One self-service trial is available per eligible account. Signing in again, reinstalling, or replacing a tablet does not restart its expiration. A reinstall or replacement may require Field KH Labs to release the previous installation’s seat. The trial does not charge you automatically or enroll you in a paid subscription.

Customers who contact Field KH Labs may be approved for a six-month business trial. Its start date, end date, seat count, and any other conditions are confirmed by Field KH Labs. This is not an automatic extension of a self-service trial. Trials end at their stated expiration unless Field KH Labs approves an extension or a paid subscription replaces them.

Paid subscriptions are generally offered for annual terms. The order, invoice, or written proposal accepted by the customer states the applicable price, seat count, payment schedule, subscription term, renewal terms, and any customer-specific services. A subscription does not renew automatically unless the applicable order expressly says that it does. If an order conflicts with these terms, the order controls for that customer.

4. License and device seats

During an active trial or subscription, Field KH Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use WARPing for your internal business operations on the number of active device seats assigned to your organization. You may deactivate a device and assign the released seat to a replacement device. You may not sell, sublicense, rent, circumvent licensing controls, reverse engineer, or use WARPing to develop a competing product, except where a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

5. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• lawful authority to access and print each document;
• compatible Android devices, printers, media, Bluetooth settings, and device-management policies;
• protecting activation codes and administrator access;
• testing print layout, scaling, legibility, and paper settings for your workflow; and
• maintaining any source application, network access, and third-party services used with WARPing.

6. Compatibility and third-party products

The initial WARPing release is designed and tested for the Brother RJ-4235B and the Android versions identified in Field KH Labs release materials. Compatibility may vary with device firmware, Android, printer settings, document layout, media, Microsoft Intune, and other third-party products. References to third-party products identify compatibility only and do not imply sponsorship or affiliation.

7. Availability, updates, and offline use

WARPing may use a signed offline license pass so printing can continue temporarily without network access. Periodic online validation is still required, and use cannot continue after the applicable offline period or subscription expiration. Field KH Labs may provide updates for security, compatibility, reliability, or policy compliance. You are responsible for deploying updates through Google Play, Microsoft Intune, or another approved method.

8. Support

Standard support is available through the contact information below. Unless an order states a service level, response and resolution times are targets rather than guarantees. Do not send customer notices, account information, addresses, activation codes, or other sensitive print content in a support request unless Field KH Labs specifically requests a secure transfer method.

9. Privacy

The WARPing Privacy Policy describes licensing information, local document processing, retention, security, and privacy requests. It is incorporated into these terms by reference.

10. Ownership and feedback

Field KH Labs and its licensors retain all rights in WARPing, the licensing service, documentation, branding, and updates. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. If you provide suggestions or feedback, Field KH Labs may use them without restriction or payment, provided it does not identify your confidential information without permission.

11. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated if a trial or subscription expires, required payment is overdue, device-seat or security controls are bypassed, use creates a security or legal risk, or these terms are materially breached. When access ends, you must stop using WARPing and remove it from devices unless applicable law requires otherwise. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

12. Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WARPing and the licensing service are provided “as is” and “as available.” Field KH Labs disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Field KH Labs does not warrant a particular amount of time, labor, or paper savings. Results depend on documents, hardware, configuration, connectivity, and operating conditions. Rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, arising from WARPing or these terms. Field KH Labs’ total liability for all claims will not exceed the amount paid for WARPing during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. For a free trial, the cap is one hundred U.S. dollars. These limits do not apply where they are prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Governing law and disputes

Texas law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in El Paso County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party consents to that venue. Before filing a claim, the parties will first try in good faith for thirty days to resolve the dispute through written notice and business discussion.

15. Changes and general terms

Field KH Labs may update these terms for legal, security, product, or operational reasons. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when practical, communicated to active customers. If a change materially reduces rights during a paid term, it will apply at renewal unless required sooner by law or security needs. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without written consent; Field KH Labs may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, or sale of the business or product.
